Solvex – The 24-Hour Innovation Challenge: An Initiative Under Solutions 2k25

Innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration take center stage at Solvex, a 24-hour offline innovation challenge conducted under "Solutions 2k25", the annual technical fest of Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune. This flagship event provides a platform for aspiring innovators, developers, and problem solvers to tackle real-world challenges through technology-driven solutions.

Event Format & Selection Process:

Solvex is structured into two key phases:

Preliminary Screening – Online Idea Pitching Round (Last Date: March 16th, 2025):

The challenge problem statement is attached.
Teams will submit a detailed proposal outlining their idea, technical approach, and impact potential.
Submissions will be reviewed based on feasibility, innovation, and scalability.
The list of finalists (top 12 teams) will be uploaded on March 18th, 2025.
The selected teams will be invited to the final round at AIT Pune.

Final Round – 24-Hour Hackathon (April 5th – 6th, 2025 | 10:00 AM onwards):

The top 12 selected teams will participate in a non-stop, 24-hour innovation sprint, where they will build a working prototype of their solution.
At the end of 24 hours, each team will present their solution to a panel of judges, followed by a Q&A session.

How to Participate:

Step 1: Register Your Team
Step 2: Submit Mid-Submission Report (Deadline: March 16th, 2025):
Share a brief proposal of your project, including:
Problem statement
Approach & methodology
Tech stack & tools used
Step 3: Final Submission (For Finalists):
Upload the following:
GitHub Repository with well-documented code.
YouTube Video (3-5 min) explaining:
Overview of the project
Key features and functionality
Workflow Explanation (A live demo is NOT necessary, but teams should clearly explain how their solution would function.)
Our panel of judges will evaluate projects based on:
Innovation – Originality and uniqueness of the idea
Impact – Practical benefits and real-world applications
Feasibility – How achievable and scalable the solution is
Execution – Code quality, performance, and completeness
